Did a full reinstall of DCS last night and was checking the servers out. At approx 11pm PST, we had 28 flyers on the dedi. I hopped in for a few and it seemed everything was running just fine.

Just impressive to see is all.

I imagine it tends to attract the US / Ca crowd due to the low pings from that part of the world?

I'm sure that accounts for a lot of it, but I think we draw a lot of people due to the nature of our missions, too: CA + lots of slots for (almost) all the airframes. Karambiatos' missions have proved to be quite popular.

We know not many servers provide CA due to the instability and lag fest issues that can arise from moving too many units.

Aj, can you possibly incorporate script that does the following? - every time someone types a text message, a $ is deducted from their PayPal account to fund the Dedi? Not sure about the legal ramifications mind..

Good idea, but I'd probably mess it up and misplace the decimal place (or comma in Europe) like the guy in 'Office Space'. ;)

Let's not forget that part of the reason is because a certain "popular" server decided to upgrade to the beta and blocked out most of the community. That helped our numbers.

But yes, I could not login because it was full 31/31.

its not only that, we had a nice amount even when they were not.

The main thing i think is keeping the server up, and putting on different missions, as well as CA.
